Our Process

The process that we use to develop documentation is simple, but it's effective. At the start of a project, we meet with key stakeholders to define:

  • The documents that you actually need.
  • The scope and contents of that documentation

Outlines and schedules

From there, we develop detailed outlines, as well as schedules for:

  • Completing drafts of the documentation
  • Carrying out reviews
  • Publishing the documentation

Getting to work

Then we get to work. We get hands-on with the product that we're documenting, becoming familiar with its features, functions, and ideosyncracies. We maintain a continuous dialogue with product managers, developers, and QA. This enables us to stay on top of changes and updates to a product and to tailor the documentation to the business needs of your customers.

Once a draft of the documentation is completed, we send it to key people for review. We incorporate their edits and review comments into the documentation. Once the product is finalized, we issue the documentation for final review and then publish it.
