DMN Communications launches podcast

December 4, 2006

DMN Communications is pleased to announce the release of its inaugural podcastCommunications from DMN. The podcast is aimed at technical communicators and those who employ them.

"The new podcast is a logical extension of our blog," said Aaron Davis, Senior Partner of DMN Communications who spearheaded the development of the podcast. "Like the blog, DMN's podcast will be look at issues, technologies, and concepts that are relevant to the technical communications community."

Keeping with the "small, smart, scalable" philosophy of DMN Communications, the podcast will be short -- five to eight minutes per week. But, as DMN's Scott Nesbitt pointed out, "that space will be packed with information that our listeners can use."

Hosted on Podbean.com, the first edition of the podcast discusses what listeners can expect in the coming weeks. Some of the upcoming topics include trends in technical communications, technologies like XML and DITA, and how writers can really demonstrate their value a client or organization. Future editions of the podcast will also include such weekly feature as tips and tricks, product reviews, pros and cons, and a segment looking at interesting books, Web sites, and documents.
