DMN Communications to sponsor FLOSS Manuals Book Sprint during Toronto Open Source WeekJuly 31, 2010 |
DMN Communications will be sponsoring a FLOSS Manuals book sprint at Toronto Open Source Week on October 26 and 27, 2010.
"We're excited to be working with Adam Hyde on this," says DMN's Scott Nesbitt, who will be co-ordinating the book sprint in Toronto. "Aaron took part in a sprint at DocTrain West 2009 and had a great time. We're hoping that the sprint this autumn will be as much fun, and will produce some great results."
"We'd also like to thank Chris Tyler and the folks at Toronto Open Source Week for providing a venue for the sprint," Nesbitt adds. "That they were willing to offer us space and resources really shows that documentation is valued in the Open Source community."
Check the FLOSS Manuals discussion list and the DMN Communications blog for the latest information about the book sprint.
